Say Hello to Our New and Improved Cheltenham Hotel
After our £5 million refurbishment, we are feeling refreshed, revitalised and better than ever. Here’s what happened at the unveiling last week and what you can look forward to when booking your stay.
Last Thursday, Sir David Michels, owner of our spa hotel in Cheltenham and one half of the renowned Michels & Taylor, headed to Cheltenham to formally launch our newly refurbished DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham (formerly known as Cheltenham Park Hotel) at a ribbon cutting ceremony following an extensive £5 million investment at the hotel. It was a fantastic afternoon and signified a time of real change for us.
But what should guests expect to see?
In addition to all public areas at our hotel having a makeover, the £5 million has been invested into all 148 bedrooms, with the welcome addition of three new luxurious suites, which will bring a level of quality to stays.
Our hotel boasts over 520 square meters of event space, which now meets the standards expected by today’s conference and events bookers. Our Park Suite offers outstanding views over the Lilly Brook Lake and golf course and can look after up to 320 guests for anything from a large corporate meeting to a wedding or private party.
Both staff and regular guests are excited about the improvements and future of the hotel and our General Manager, Syed Zaidi said of the change, “We now have a product of which we can be truly proud, and my team and I are looking forward to welcoming our guests to this much loved hotel and looking after them in these new first class surroundings.”
